
Fast growth is not built with urea alone. The best fertiliser is the one that delivers nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to the roots by correct placement; on trees, Farkesht does that with the Chalkood Cake.
A search for the best fertiliser for fast growth usually ends at a large nitrogen figure on a sack. In Iranian orchards and greenhouses that shortcut turns out expensive: soft shoots, weak roots, pests, and in a fruit tree a small crop. Fast growth is useful when roots, stems and leaves advance together and the plant reaches the next stage — flower or fruit — rather than merely turning green. The best fertiliser is the one that delivers the element to the absorbing zone at the time of need and is not lost in the country's calcareous soil and saline water. What fast growth means, and when it is the right aim
In tomato, pepper and cucurbit transplants, fast growth means filling the tray in a short time without becoming leggy. In turf and landscaping, it means covering the surface before the heat of June. In a newly planted sapling, it means root establishment in the first year. In a bearing tree, fast growth is not the main aim; the aim is filling the fruit and setting next year's buds. If you feed a pistachio or apple orchard nitrogen as if it were cucumber transplants, you build wood, not a crop. So before buying a growth fertiliser, ask what stage the plant is at. Vegetative growth needs nitrogen, but without phosphorus the roots fall behind, and without potassium the plant breaks down under heat and cropping. The three pillars of growth: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
Nitrogen builds leaves and chlorophyll. Phosphorus builds energy, roots and the entry into flowering. Potassium manages water, sugars and fruit quality. The best growth fertiliser is a balance of these three that shifts with the plant's stage: a higher phosphorus ratio for roots and establishment, a higher nitrogen ratio for leaf growth, a higher potassium ratio for flower and fruit. A complete fertiliser with a fixed formula, applied at the wrong time, upsets the balance. In the carbonate soils of Isfahan, Fars and Khorasan, surface phosphorus is fixed and surface nitrogen is lost; that is, the same complete fertiliser, if broadcast, does not arrive complete at the roots. Placement matters more than the brand on the sack.
- Transplants and leafy vegetables: regular nitrogen together with establishment phosphorus and a short irrigation interval.
- Saplings and a tree's first year: phosphorus and organic matter in the root zone; mild nitrogen.
- A bearing tree: base NPK nutrition in the winter fertiliser pit, a spring nitrogen top dressing, potassium from fruit set.
- Flower and fruit: reduce surplus nitrogen and raise potassium; otherwise the plant makes leaves and no flowers.

Greenhouse, garden and field crops: fast growth without the Chalkood Cake
The cake is designed for trees and shrubs with a permanent root system. In a transplant greenhouse, the best route is fertigation with a controlled EC: an establishment formula with enough phosphorus, then a growth formula with nitrogen, and a slight reduction of nitrogen before transplanting so the plants do not go leggy. In a home garden, mature compost plus a balanced complete fertiliser in several applications beats one green-miracle product. In annual crops, splitting nitrogen with the water and placing phosphorus in the planting row advances growth. Saline water and high bicarbonate set the ceiling on any fertiliser's effect; without reading the water, even the most expensive growth fertiliser works slowly. If the aim is only a green lawn in August, more nitrogen raises disease and water demand; Farkesht does not consider that growth.
- Write down the plant's stage: transplant, establishment, leaf growth or cropping.
- Put the soil test — and for trees the leaf test — ahead of buying a sack.

- If the young leaves are chlorotic, add the micro to the programme; nitrogen alone only makes iron yellowing more obvious.
- In a greenhouse, work through fertigation and record the EC and pH of the solution.
